President Muhammadu Buhari has told Ministers, Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Government agencies to buckle up and double their efforts towards total delivery the administration’s set targets.
Mr President who gave the charge on Tuesday at the closing ceremony of the 2022 ministerial performance review also said the lessons learnt in the last three years of implementing his Government’s policies , programme and projects would serve as a platform to propel every ministry to stay committed to the achievement of development goals.
He however cautioned them Against abandoning governance for electioneering, saying that any infraction will be viewed seriously.
According to him, with campaigns for next year’s election on the way, governance should not be abandoned.
