The Federal government says buildings on water changes, disregard for early warnings and climate change are responsible for the disastrous floods ravaging Bayelsa state and other parts of the country.
President Muhammed Buhari made thus known in a statement by his spokesman, Mallam Garba Sheu on Sunday in Abija.
According to the statement, 33 of the nation’s 36 states as well.as the Federal capital territory have so far been hit..
The President also directed that all Federal agencies dealing with rescue and disaster management should offer all needed assistance assistance the affected parts of the country.
