OGUN: ABIODUN URGES WORKERS TO REDEDICATE THEMSELVES.

The level of development in Ogun State will be enhanced if workers rededicate themselves and see their jobs as a call to duty to the people of the State.

Governor Dapo Abiodun made this assertion in an interview with newsmen after inspecting government offices at the State Secretariat, Oke-Mosan Abeokuta.

The governor noted that as the engine room of government and partners in the “Building our Future Together agenda” of his administration, workers have a lot to offer the State through hard work and dedication.

According to him,” the purpose of the visitation this morning is to see how the workers are doing, check on their welfare and familiarized with the office environment and happy with what the workers are doing though there few things to be done.

Advising the workers to continue to do the good job as partners towards building the future of Ogun State together, Mr governor pledged that his administration would continue to hold workers in high esteem, promising that the exercise would be a continuous process

Also Speaking, the Secretary to the State Government, MR. Tokunbo Talabi, expressed surprised at the visit, saying that it would encourage and strengthen the cordial relationship with the workers and ensure bonding.

In his remarks, the Head of Service, Dr. Nafiu Aigoro, said the visit was a morale booster and assurance that workers are not left alone, calling on them to always be at their duty posts, as the number one citizen of the State would check on them at anytime.

Some of the offices visited by the governor included; Budget office, office of the Head of Service, Permanent Secretaries of Budget, Finance, Commissioners for Information, Finance and Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
