The federal government has reiterated commitment to tackling insecurity confronting the country
The Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor gave the assurance at the weekend in Abuja
The Army Chief however called for better collaboration with all other stakeholders to tackle insecurity , urging the people to always be ready to provide useful information or intelligence to security operatives
According to him, it is only when information or intelligence is provided that immediate action can be taken by the security personnel.
General Irabor also urged retired senior security officers to support the Armed Forces by educating the citizens on the need to always support the military to achieve peace and stability in the country.
