Ogun Lawmakers urge parents to inculcate right values on their children

The Ogun State House of Assembly has appealed to parents and guardians to make more conscious efforts  in inculcating moral and  nation building  values in their wards as one of the ways to address cultism and other social vices.

The speaker, Rt. Hon Olakunle Oluomo, made the plea while responding to the submission of a member, representing Odeda State Constituency, Assemblyman Oludaisi  Elemide during the Thursday plenary in Abeokuta

He also called on the community leaders to collaborate with the security agencies to rid the society of criminals often found to be members of secret cults.

The number one lawmaker in the state commiserated with the Nigerian Union of Teachers , the Nigeria labour congress and the immediate family members of Comrade Sunday Ogunjimi, who lost his life during the last industrial action in the state.

Rt Hon. Oluomo appealed to the people ,especially workers to always be conscious of their health status
