PA ABIODUNS BURIAL: TRACE DEPLOYS 470 OPERATIVES, 10 PATROL VEHICLES AND 6 TOW TRUCKS..

Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, TRACE, has deployed 470 Operatives, 10 Patrol Vehicles and 6 Hired Medium and High Capacity Tow Trucks with standby Heavy Duty Crane through Private Sector Providers (PSP), to ensure effective traffic flow during the burial ceremonies of Pa Emmanuel Abiodun, the deceased father of His Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun, whose sad event occurred on August 2nd, 2021.

According to a release from the office of the TRACE Corps Commander/Chief Executive, Cdr. ‘Seni Ogunyemi, the operation which commenced on Monday, 6th September, 2021, would terminate on Thursday, 9th September, 2021.

The release stated that the Special Operation, which is in synergy with other security agencies, would ensure the safety of dignitaries from all works of life, both within and outside the country, that are attending the burial ceremonies.

Furtherance to this, the 12 major traffic corridors that leads to and out of the Gateway State are to be strategically manned by operatives of the TRACE Corps in order to prevent traffic snarl, hold up and gridlock in whatever guise, that may inhibit and obstruct traffic, more so with the high volume of human and vehicular traffic anticipated.

Moreover, the general public, particularly the motoring public are enjoined to cooperate and show understanding by adhering to parking instructions, avoid route violation, except here indicated and plan their journey, in order to ensure strict compliance to the procedural guidelines of the special operation schedule.

The statement also urge TRACE Corps operatives to be civil, humane and exhibit a high level of professionalism in the discharge of their duties, while imploring road users attending the burial ceremonies to employ and ensure that all Covid 19 protocols and guidelines are observed and respected.
