The Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has reassured the residents of Denro, Ishasi and Alagbole-akute communities in Ifo Local government of more infrastructural projects to improve on their standard of living
Governor Abiodun who gave the assurance this Saturday during the inspection of 4.5 kilometres denro-ishasi-alagbole akute road described the road as important to the current administration due to its linkage to Lagos State.
The Governor explained that government decided to reconstruct the road to alleviate the suffering of the residents in fulfilment of his promise during the electioneering campaign.
Mr Governor pointed out that the purpose of the visit was to ascertain the level of job done on the road by the contractor handling the project assuring, that government would soon carry out a palliative measure on the abandoned Akute junction road to ijoko up to sango to make it motorable for the residents pending when it would be completed.
Applauding the residents for cooperating with the contractor despite the fact that some of their properties were affected by the road reconstruction, Governor Abiodun assured that government would continue to implement laudable projects that would impact positively on the lives of the residents of the state.
