Nigeria was the cynosure of all eyes in Los Angeles, United States as Afro beat Musician , Damini Ogulu , popularly known as Burna Boy last night (Sunday) won his first Grammy Award.
Burna Boy clinched the Best Global Music Album award category after beating four other nominees at the 63rd Grammy’s winning the category with his ” Twice as Tall ” Album released in August , 2020.
The Album featured guest appearances from American Music Group , Naughty By Nature , Kenyan Band ,Sauti Sol ,Senegalese Music icon ,Youssou N’Dour and Chris Martin’s of Coldplay..
Reacting to the historic win, Burna Boy said the Award is a big win for not just Nigerians,but Africans all over the world.
Also, another Nigeria Musician WIZKID, won a Grammy for the Best music video , for his role in Beyonce’s 2019 hit sing ” Brown Skin Girl”.
