The incumbent President of The African Development Bank, *AFDB* Dr Akinwunmi Adesina of Nigeria appears to have been re-elected to lead the regional bank for another tenure.
According to reports, the AFDB boss re- election was courtesy a virtual meeting of the bank’s stakeholders this thursday .
Dr Adesina was a federal minister in charge of agriculture, back home under the immediate past governmentled by Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.
Dr Adesina hails from Ijebu Igbo in Ogun State.
