InThe Bureau of Information Technology says it’s greatest achievement is the provision of internet expansion to all Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs.
The Special Adviser to the governor on ICT,Mr Dayo Abiodun let this out while presenting the Bureau’s budget performance before the house committee on Information and technology,led by assembyman Yusuf Adejojo, this Monday.
According to the SA,the agency also improved on shared services and data center.
Mr Abiodun informed the committee that it has also designed the implementation of Ogun TechHub internet access with the deployment of 22 access points for coverage at the Hub.
The BIT boss noted that Covid-19 has delayed it’s partners in the US to provide it with necessary tools for it’s ICT just as he stated that the state won the best state in ICT penetration and adoption by fed ministry of communication and digital economy in 2019.
The committee also hosted the ministry of information and strategy, OGTV ,OGBC as well as the state Signage and advertising Agency
