The Ogun state Governor, Prince Dapoapo Abiodun has described the Nobel Laurette and a beloved son of Ogun state Professor Wole Soyinka as an enigma of success.

Governor Abiodun gave the commendations while felicitating the academic icon as he clocks 86th years this Monday.

The Governor while describing the celebrator as a man of high pedigree and integrity, explained that his contributions towards the advancement of arts and poetry was unquantifiable through the various books being published

Extolling the virtues of the Nobel Laurette, the Governor posited that professor Wole Soyinka was a civil defender and a fearless democrat that has contributed immensely to the enthronement of good governance and human development in the country.

According to Prince Abiodun, Professor Soyinka is an epitome of excellence whose contributions to the national development has earned the state a place of pride among the comity of states in the country.

OGBC Governor’s Office Correspondent, Olufemi Orioye reports that the Governor assured that the current administration known for celebrating the indigenes of the state that have excelled in various human endeavor would continue to celebrate Professor Wole Soyinka for his intellectual accomplishment, unwavering patriotism and forthrightness.
