OGUN HEAD OF SERVICE CALLS FOR SYNERGY AMONG MDAs

The Ogun State Head of Service ,Mrs . Selimot Ottun has called for interpersonal relationship among Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), charging Civil Servants to compare notes and share positive ideas, as government is  committed to their welfare, as soon as the economy of the State improves.

Mrs. Ottun who  stated this during a familiarisation visits to some (MDAs) at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, said Ogun workers were highly intelligent, hardworking and result-oriented, advising them to maintain the status and be focused to give good service to the citizenry.

“I am proud that Ogun State workers are very hardworking, highly intelligent, very vibrant and result oriented. Let’s show our competency that we can compete with others in the private sector. I am here to solicit for your co-operation to build on the foundation of our forbearers. Let’s support Governor Dapo Abiodun-led administration to move the State forward, by being disciplined, punctual, decently dressed and be fully engaged, when you are in the office”, she said.

The HoS urged the civil servants to support Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration, in order to move the State forward, advising workers to always follow the guidelines of washing their hands, using sanitizer, facemask and maintaining social distancing to be safe, as Covid-19 was real.

Speakingon behalf of their colleagues, Permanent Secretaries from Bureau of Establishment and Training, Mrs. Lydia Fajounbo, Civil Service Commission, Mr. Kolawole Ogunlana, Ministry of Industries, Trade and Investment, Mr. Olu Aikulola and Women Affairs and Social Development, Dr.(Mrs.) Oluranti Oladeinde, thanked the HoS for the visit, pledging their support to the present government to take the State to an enviable height.
