Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo returned to action for the first time in three months but his return to football ended in a defeat.
Etebo played all ninety minutes as Getafe were beaten 2-1 by Granda who put another Nigerian Ramon Azeez on the bench for the entire duration.
The loss is a massive blow to Getafe’s champions league aspirations as they stay in fifth place, level on points with fourth placed real sociedad who have a game in hand.
Granada meanwhile are up to 8th with 41 points, five behind Getafe.
