The Current Administration in Ogun State will stop at nothing towards ensuring effective security arrangements for the protection of lives and property across the state.
Governor Dapo Abiodun gave the assurance on Thursday while inaugurating an 18-Man Ogun State Communnity Policing Advisory Committee headed by The Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona at Oke-mosan in Abeokuta.
The Governor explained that the current administration is aware of the importance of viable security system in achieving the goals of building the future of the state together.
He explained that the development has led to the formation of the Ogun State Trust Fund, which has done a lot in assisting the security agencies through the provision of necessary logistics such as patrol vehicles, motor-cycles and other security apparatus to enhance the performances of the security outfits in the state.
Earlier in a remark, The Inspector-General of Police, (I.G.P.) Mr. Mohammed Adamu represented by the Head of Department, Training Force Headquarters, Abuja, Mr David Folawiyo commended Governor Abiodun for responding appropriately to the Federal Governments efforts at instituting a formidable community policing across the country.
