OGUN GOVT. TASKS IBEDC ON CONSTANT POWER SUPPLY.

The Ogun State Government has charged the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, IBEDC, to ensure constant power supply to the citizenry of the State.

Governor Dapo Abiodun gave the charge this Thursday while declaring open a retreat for senior staff of the company in Abeokuta.

Governor Abioidun explained that the administration is ready to partner the company, having understood that constant electricity supply is important to its vision of transforming the state through public private partnership(PPP) initiative.

He added that government has set up Ogun State energy and electricity board to conduct electricity audit towards identifying the amount of energy needed in the state and how to achieve it.

The Governor while describing the retreat as apt urged the participant to come up with ideas that will make IBEDC more efficient in the developmental agenda of the current administration.

Meanwhile, in this remarks at the birthday celebration put together by the Center For Human Security and Dialogue,  Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library.

The Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun posited that former President Obasnjo is a blessing to Nigeria adding that his contributions to socio-economic and political sectors are unparalleled.

Appreciating God for sparing his life till now, the celebrators  lauded his parents for training him in a path of honor pointing out that the remaining days of his life will be used to serve god and humanity.
