The Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has charged the newly entrants into the civil service to key into Programmes of the government for the transformation of the state.
Governor Abiodun gave this charge this Monday while addressing the two thousand new entrants who came to the Governor’s office on a “Thank you visit over their absorption and payment of nine months salaries.
Governor Abiodun urged them to key into the programmes of the government stressing that the only way to show true appreciation is to be dedicated and committed to discharging their duties.
The Head of Service, Town Planner Amope Ajibola Chokor on her part advised the workers to be committed and justify their appointment.
The number one worker in the state also urged them to make integrity their watch word.
Responding on behave of the workers, Messrs Folarin Oladapo and Olatunji Olabisi thanked the Governor for the kind gesture and promised to ensure better service delivery in the state civil service.
They described Governor as unique among the thirty six Stste Governors of the Country with assurance to uphold the good good image of the state.
The ASCON workers were employed in April 2020 towards the end of the last administration but later absorbed into the state civil service day of Governor Abiodun in January 2020.
