Burial arrangement for the Late General Manager of OGBC, Mr Diji Akinhanmi has been made public.
According to a statement by Mr Inaadetan Akinhanmi, Christian wake for the deceased comes up on Wednesday at the African Church Cathedral, Ita-Iyalode, Opposite Gateway Secondary School, Abeokuta at 5pm.
On Thursday , the corpse stops by for farewell at the OGBC, Ibara Housing Estate between 8:30 and 9:30am while funeral comes up same Thursday at The African Church, Rock of Ages Parish, Off Quarry Road, Abeokuta from 11am.
Meanwhile, the Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in collaboration with friends of Mr Diji Akinhanmi will on Tuesday hold an ‘’Evening of Tribute’’ for our departed senior colleagues at the NUJ Secretariat, Iwe Irohin from 5pm to 6:30PM.
This will be followed by a lying in state at the premises of OGBC on Thursday by 8:30am before the church service.
Heads of Media Organisations in Ogun State, The Media Team of the Government, NUJ and RATTAWU, State Councils and Friends are enjoined to honour the departed and dear have the opportunity to pay their tributes to an icon at the event.
