The Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engineer Noimot Salako Oyedele wants Nigerians to unite in the building of a virile Nation.
According to her, Government alone can not shoulder the responsibility of social amenities provision.
Speaking in Abeokuta, on Sunday at the induction of Mrs Omonike Adeniji Alao as the 6th President of Inner Wheel of Olumo District 912, Nigeria, Engineer Salako Oyedele noted that selfless service to humanity should be encouraged.
Represented by Honourable Adijat Adeleye, the Deputy Governor informed that the current administration will give necessary assistance to philanthropic organizations.
Speaking in the same vein, the wife of the Governor, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun who was represented by Mrs Bose Olaniran lauded the inner wheel of Olumo District 912, Nigeria, for putting smiles on the faces of the needy adding that self-help projects should be a joint task.
In her remarks, Mrs Adeniji Alao informed that the club will embark on empowerment programmes for widows, donate to correctional centres and train girls as well as women on different vocations.
While charging the members to work together and make the club vibrant, she said the inner wheel of Olumo District 912, Nigeria is a service oriented organization established to help the needy.
