192 Students of the Continuing Education and Community Development Department of Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida University, Lapai on Tuesday visited the Operating Station of the State Broadcasting Corporation OGBC with the aim of gaining field experience of the Broadcasting Profession.
Speaking during the excursion, some of the students, including Miss Samuel Grace Odunayo and Mr Salihu Bitrus Shekwodije who learnt the mode of operations of the different divisions of the Broadcasting House, said that it gave them the opportunity to have the knowledge to Broadcast Facilities, Contents and Inter operations of Broadcasting Divisions.
Also, their lecturers including Dr Idris Kolo, and Dr Muhammed Jiya-Lakan who stated that Communication is part of the Continuing Education and Community Development, explained that this necessitated their trip to OGBC from Niger State.
They commended OGBC for turning out Education Oriented Programs that are boosting literacy in the society.
