President Mahammadu Buhari this Wednesday presided over the federal executive council (FEC) meeting.
The meeting which is the first under the second term administration of President Buhari started around 11 AM in the council chamber with the rendition of the National Anthem.
In his brief remarks at the commencement of the meeting, the President told the minsters that they cannot afford to fail Nigerians.
Reminding them of the oath they took three weeks ago, he said they must give selfless service to the Nation.
At the meeting were the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbanjo, The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha, The Head of Service, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita and the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno.
