The Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Mrs Modele Sarafa-Yusuf has called for adequate funding of the State Broadcast stations, the State Broadcasting Corporation, OGBC, the State Televison,OGTV, and other Agencies under the Ministry of Information for optimal performance.
Mrs Sharafa-Yusuf who made the call while playing host to members of the House of Assembly Committee on Information led by Assemblyman Yusuf Adejojo who visited the Ministry on oversight function also solicited the rehabilitation of the Ministry’s headquarters to enhance productivity.
Lobby correspondent Dele Ogunleye also reported that the committee also visited the Ministry of Culture&Tourism where it was hosted by the Permanent Secretary,Alhaja Salimot Otun who called for increased funding and accommodation for the Ministry to generate more revenue for the State.
