The Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo says the new 132/33KV substation will improve electricity in Abeokuta and its environs.
The monarch noted that the sub-station will also enhance economic activities as well as improve the living standard of the people.
Oba Gbadebo stated this in an interview with staff reporter Dele Ogunleye at the commissioning of the transmission lines this thursday on the kobape road Abeokuta.
The Alake while appreciating the effort of the federal government in ensuring that electricity supply is improved upon assured that the people will do their own part through the regular settlement of their bills.
Similarly, The Alakene of Ikene Oba Adeyinka Onakade commended the government for making the commissioning possible.
