The Federal Government believes that for Nigeria to achieve the desire economic growth there must be regular power supply.
The government has therefore made it a priority that individuals and companies have access to regular power supply.
According to the Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo, there is need to re-strategise better performance.
Professor Osinbajo identified lack of infrastructure as a challenge confronting distribution companies (DISCOs).
He assures of adequate funding of DISCOs.
Earlier, Managing Director of Niger Delta Power Holding Company, NDPHC, Mr Chiedu Ugbo said the new transition line will boost the power supply in Abeokuta and it’s environs.
As he said, between 2015 and 2019, major national integrated power plant inherited by the current administration had been completed.
