Government says it will continue to develop the culture and tourism to enhance the ongoing transformation of the state.
The Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun gave the assurance this Tuesday at the 2019 Ojude Oba festival in Ijebu Ode.
The Governor said the state is blessed with various tourist centers that if properly harnessed will boost the economy of the state.
Describing the annual Ojude Oba Festival as globally accepted, The Governor said it has become a unifying point for all the Ijebu sons and daughters to showcase their culture and tradition.
While enumerating the importance of good road network to the development of the state, he assured that the Ijebu-Ode to Epe road will be completed in the next nine months.
He commended the Awujale and paramount ruler of Ijebu-land, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona for his unflinching support and his contributions to the advancement of the state.
The Governor described the paramount ruler as a determined and principled man whose uncompromising attitude has made him to be a role model.
