Nigerians has been told that they will be doing themselves a world of good if they embrace the National Identity Number (NIN) registration.
This is because, the NIN is the key to obtaining international passport, opening bank account and processing pension documents just as it affords registered individuals to have the required and authentic data with the government.
The Ogun State acting coordinator of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Mr Wole Okunowo stated this in an interview with OGBC staff reporter, Olumide Tejuoso.
Mr Okunowo added that the process for the issuance of the number take less than 24 hours while the issuance of the card takes a few months informing that means of identification number and personal data are required for the registration.
