The authority at the Local Governments and Local Council Development area coucils in the Gateway State have until Thursday next week to submit State of affairs reports of the councils before the House of Assembly.
This is to enable the lawmakers to know the next step to take regarding the suspension of the council chairmen.
The Speaker, the Right Honourable Olakunle Oluomo who gave the directive at the plenary this Thursday said the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs would coordinate the reports.
According to Speaker Oluomo, the house would host the officials of the councils and LCDAS between August 5th and 19th to hear their own side before a final decision would be taken by the lawmakers
