Governor Dapo Abiodun this Thursday formally declared the 2019 BATCH B STREAM 1 NYSC ORIENTATION COURSE open with a charge on the corp members to imbibe leadership qualities.
Represented by his deputy, Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele at the NYSC permanent orientation camp, the governor advised the participants to imbibe perseverance, endurance, discipline, dedication, peaceful coexistence with their fellow compatriots who came from different socio-cultural and religious backgrounds.

Declaring his administration’s support for youths development, Governor Abiodun said government would provide enabling environment for the people, especially the youth, to nurture their potentials.
He advised the corp members to take advantage of the conducive environment to enhance their creative instincts and contribute positively towards the development of the Gateway State.
Earlier, the Acting Chairman, NYSC state governing board, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Youths and Sports Mr Peter Kolawole Fagboun charged the corp members to see the opportunity as a rare privilege to serve their fatherland and humanity.
