Just as Nigerian workers are still rejoicing and anxiously waiting for the government to start the payment of new minimum wage, the minister of budget and national planning senator Udo Odoma and the chairman of the Federal inland revenue services, Babatunde Fowler, came out to say that there may be need for FG to increase Vat so as to be able to pay the new minimum wage.
But in a quick reaction to this proposed increase the national leader of APC Bola Tinubu urged the F.G not to increase the VAT.
