HARDSHIP: OGUN STATE GOVERNMENT TO TAKE DELIVERY OF 100 TRAILERS OF BAG OF RICE.

As part of the efforts to cushion the high cost of foodstuffs currently affecting the nation, the Ogun State governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has ordered for the supply of one hundred trailers of bag of rice for the residents

Governor Abiodun who made the remark this midweek at a stakeholder’s meeting held at the June 12 cultural Centre, Abeokuta explained that the rice would be sold to the public at the subsidizing rate while it would be also distributed free to the elderly ones

The governor informed that the state government would soon launch its E-mobility motorcycles and taxes to reduce the cost of transportation across the state

The governor also informed that the current economy situation caused by Inflation and high foreign exchange rate would soon be a thing of past as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is working round the clock in ensuring that naira appreciate to mitigate high cost of living in the country

The first citizen of the gateway state informed that the state government would soon launch its E-mobility motorcycles and taxes to reduce the cost of transportation across the state

Mr governor informed that the reason for the meeting was to intimate the people about the various interventions implemented by the federal and state governments towards addressing the economic imbalance in the country

The governor while urging the youths to be cautious to avoid being used to cause crisis in the country assured that the various policies rolled out by Mr president would soon materialise

He implored opinion leaders across the state to be supportive of the renewed hope agenda of the current administration as the government at the centre is taking drastic steps to solve the economic problems

Responding, the alake and paramount ruler of egbaland, Oba adedotun aremu gbadebo thanked president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and governor dapo Abiodun for being passionate about the welbeing and welfare of nigerians appealing to people to be patient with the government over the current situation as things would soon be better

The meeting was attended by dignitaries including members of the national and state assembly, government functionaries, traditional rulers, party faithful and members of the public
