OGUN GOVERNMENT PLEDGES TO BOOST INFRASTUCTURAL PROVISION IN OTA- AGBARA AXIS

The Ogun state government will leave no stone unturned towards putting in place the needed infrastructure in the Ota-Agbara-Igbesa axis for the development of the area and the state at large.

This is necessary because the axis remains an important contributor to the growth and development of commerce and industry in the gateway state.

The Deputy Governor, Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele gave the assurance on Monday at a stakeholders engagement with businesses,investors and residents of Agbara,OPIC and Eedu areas of the Ado-Odo Ota local government held at OPIC estate,Agbara.

Engineer Salako-Oyedele noted that the current administration is committed to the prompt completion of the ongoing Atan-Lusada road which according to her is critical to the success of government efforts at boosting industrialisation.

While urging the people of the areas to vote for the re-election of governor Dapo Abiodun in Saturday’s polls,the deputy governor reminded the people of the need to massively throw their weight behind the All Progressives Congress(APC) for good governance to continue in the state.

In a remark, the Chairman, Ado-Odo Ota local government, Mr Sherif Musa described the stakeholders engagement as a crucial meeting which provided an opportunity for the people of the areas to interact with the government for a better living.

The deputy governor attended the stakeholders engagement alongside the commissioner for transportation, Engineer Gbenga Dairo, that of Works and infrastructure, Engineer Ade Akinsanya,their counterpart in the Industry,trade and investment, Mrs Kikelomo Longe as well as the OPIC MD, Architect Abiodun Faari-Arole who all interacted with the stakeholders on the programmes and policies of the government for the people
