The Speaker of the Hoise of Representatives, the Right Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila said the President has accepted the report of their engagement with the Acasemic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on how to resolve the industrial action by the Union.
He stated this when he led a delegation of princiapl officers to the Presidential Villa immediately after Tuesday’s plenary.
Speaking with newsmen, the Speaker highlighted the reasons for the visit.
He noted that President Muhammadu Buhari had pledged to look into the House of Representatives recommendations aimed at resolving the ongoing strike embarked upon by the University Lecturers over eight months ago.
