Super Eagles Midfielder Etebo Oghenekaro has confirmed that he is very close to joining Turkish Giants Galatasaray from English Championship side Stoke City.
The Former Warri Wolves man is at the moment on board a flight from England and will spend close to five hours enroute to Turkey.
Etebo spent the conclusion of last season on loan at Getafe and did enough to help the Azulones to an 8th place finish before injury and his father’s burial in Nigeria ended his season.
He joined Stoke in June 2018 for €7.2m after an impressive display at the 2018 World Cup in Russia and played 37 times in the 2018/19 season and was voted the team’s player of the season
The former CD Fereinse of Portugal attacking Midfielder who also had a short stint at Las Palmas will now put pen to paper with Galatasaray.
Details will be revealed later but the deal is one hundred percent done and baring any unforeseen circumstances, Etebo who played every minute of Nigeria’s 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations outing in Egypt will play his club Football in Turkey when the club Football season kicks off
