The Presidential Task Force PTF on the Coronavirus Pandemic has warned against the reopening of schools.
It also reminded Nigerians that there were still possibilities of a review of all related measures adding that a relaxation of restrictions should not be interpreted as “Life is back to normal”.
The PTF Chairman Mr Boss Mustapha who gave the warning expressed worry over the continued violation of measures to curb the spread of the virus.
He emphasizes that it is not yet safe to reopen schools, television viewing centres, sports stadia and other places where large gatherings could take place.
He also raised concerns over the disregard for guidelines, measures and regulation across the country, reminding the nation that the relaxed measures were still subject to review.
