According to him many Nigerians often patronize those in the industry that will render cheap labor pointing out that it is not everyone that carries out mechanical duties on vehicles or put up a structure is a certified engineer.

On the Wirld Engineering day which is being celebrated this midweek, Engineer Olonade said the focus is on the role of Engineers in achieving the United Nation’s sustainable development goals(SDGs) in Nigeria.

He informed that the day is also used to encourage the girl child to study the science based subjects pointing out that Engineering courses should not be seen as mainly for male students.
