Governor Dapo Abiodun says he will continue to tap from the wealth of experience and wisdom of elders towards achieving a focus and qualitative governance.
He made the promise this Thursday while inaugurating fifty-six members of governor’s Elders advisory council drafted from the three senatorial districts.
He said the inauguration is in accordance with his promise during the electioneering campaign to institute an inclusive and participatory governance stating that elders have the role to advise and encourage government to perform better.
While thanking them for accepting to be part of the enthronement of good governance the number one citizen assured that government will continue to implement workable policies that will promote influx of businesses into the state by making it the hub of investment in Africa.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the advisory council Chief Oluleye Okuboyejo thanked the Governor for the opportunity to serve, assuring that members will do their best to bring about positive turn around in the state.
