The Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board has reassures of its contributions to improved standard of education in the state and in line with the vision of Governor Dapo Abiodun.
The executive secretary of the board Mr Wasiu Olalekan Kuje gave the assurance when the agency presented its budgetary performance to the committee on education, science and technology at the committee room of house of assembly.
While highlighting the achievements of the agency, he said that 10,379 textbooks and educational materials were donated by Mrs Bamidele Abiodun just as 40 mobile science laboratory equipment and 80 mathematics teaching kits were distributed to schools across the three senatorial districts.
He assured of the commitment of the board to the training and retaining of teachers promising to also partner the private sector to enhance the education standard.
In his response, the chairman of the education committee, Assemblyman Ademuyiwa Adeyemi assured the agency of the support of the committee.
