Government has restated commitment towards enhancing the service delivery of security agencies in the state.
The deputy governor, Engr Noimot Salako Oyedele stated this, while receiving the newly deployed commandant of the Nigeria Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in the state, Commandant Hammed Abodunrin on a courtesy visit this midweek.
According to her, When launched, the state security trust fund would be used to properly Equip all security agencies in the state.
Engr Salako-Oyedele who assured the NSCDC of Government’s support for the actualization of its set goals informed that stringent government policies are being put in place by the Governor Dapo Abiodun led administration to tackle insecurity across the state.
Earlier, The NSCDC boss informed the deputy governor of the corps efforts at tackling security issues especially the fight against vandalism of oil pipeline and protection of critical national assets.
